MEET THE DESIGNER

Hello! Thank you for coming to learn more about me. I am the CEO and interior designer behind Speachless Interiors. I am also a flooring specialist, an aspiring Master Chef, artist, and a proud Momma to a wonderful 6-year-old pup named Coco. I'm hoping to shape interior design in such a way that it becomes a normalcy for people to invest in, rather than a delicacy.

I have been in the interior design industry since 2013. I prefer to curate simple, contemporary, and fresh spaces that have an industrial or rustic edge to them. I do this by layering and mixing bold & contemporary colours, textures, and materials together to generate balance and harmony throughout each space. I look to highlight the innate characteristics of the home and then add function, personality, and balance to each room.

Value and comfort are also particularly important to me. It should not just be about the look of the space - but also the longevity of the design and how the space makes the client feel. I do not just simply "spend" my client's money - it is utilized with the utmost care.

In my humble opinion, my job is to save you time and utilize your money with an efficient manner;  all while creating the space that has the style and function you want.

My clients are typically professional, busy families who are adventurous and are at the stage where they are ready for long-lasting furnishings and décor pieces. "You get what you pay for" is a true statement in most cases. Where I truly thrive is when my client is happy to hand over complete creative freedom to me to produce a beautifully balanced space- based on your needs, wants and day to day lives.

Clients usually hire me for multiple rooms at a time to assist in the continuous flow throughout their home. I apply a discount to each additional room on most services to encourage this trend.

Speachless Interiors purpose for me is to take my passion & skillset and instill significance in people's lives by creating memorable spaces for them. With hope that in-turn it will support me and my family financially, as well as create more freedom in my day-to-day life. After every space I create, I am gifted with an immense feeling of joy - so it truly is a win-win for all.

If you'd like to know me a bit more personally - I honestly just appreciate the simple things in life like good food, genuine people, my dog, and a hard days work; with home at the center of it all. Home life has always been incredibly important to me.

I was born in Edmonton, AB in 1993 and 5 years later my family moved out East to an acreage past Sherwood Park. We lived in a small bungalow - I loved it there - 3 acres, 2 dogs, lots of "toys", family and friends who freely stopped by on Sundays. It was truly a small town life and I was the kid who thrived in anything creative. After high school I went off and got my certificate in Residential Interiors at the U of A in 2013 and another certificate in Home Renovations at SAIT in 2019.

I also decided in between those times to fly to Australia for a 3-month internship with a design and renovation company based out of Melbourne. That experience will always be remembered and cherished. Travelling has been a large part of my life and is one of my main passions outside of design that I think directly helps my ability to "think outside the box." I have been to 6 different countries - and by God's grace I am just getting started.

As much as I love my design business, home life holds that special place in my heart. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my loved ones, my dog, cooking and indulging in thoughtfully curated food while staying active. All in all, I am so very thankful and blessed to still be doing what I am today. I will persistently grow professional, physically, mentally, creatively and in my faith.

God bless you. I hope to collaborate with you and create a space that your body and mind will yearn to be surrounded by.
